I really dont care about commit messages. Just create strict rules for branches that contains issue nr + description, and squash all commits on merging the PR.

The text is the worst. The icons are nice and pixely but the fonts are baby butt smooth anti aliased

They're probably already using Git for the website so using a pre-commit hook is by far the easiest way.
