I use both GL and GH every day. And I find GH's UX is much weaker, e.g. it doesn't remember last used sort options on the issues page which is huge annoying. So this is subjective.…

GitLab allows users to sign in using their GitHub accounts. It solves the `everyone has a GitHub account` problem.
