    Out team chose Datomic for it's graph like properties and emphasis on data locality. This is optimal for GraphQL style patterns where you'd otherwise join a million tables

    Datomic "on premise" version is not dependent on any AWS services and can be run on any box using vanilla java

    You can use Next.js to do server-side only rendering. It uses React idioms for rendering in favor of vanilla templating
