Yeah, the psychology of that is fascinating. I don't give the bureaucrats credit for doing it for that reason though. I think they did it because they wanted the cash flow earlier.…

Don't cryptocurrencies break that model? They are financial assets in the economy that are not created or presently controlled by governments.
