It's still very new and a very small team, i would suggest reaching out and maybe asking them to add that to the website, seems you summed it up perfectly!

I use https://standardnotes.org/ , which allows me to tag my notes and search, it also syncs to my mobile. There are some great "organizational" options in this thread though!
