Examples of how I've made clients happy in the past: -- Miniaturization of a medical diagnostics product. PCB design as well as embedded software and desktop software programming. -- The creation of a "smart dust" wireless sensor network prototype demonstrator. -- Increased the number of remote controls that could be used simultaneously in a given space. This was done by fixing a frequency hopping spread spectrum implementation in embedded software. -- Finding the root cause of an overheat safety circuit triggering unnecessarily in an aerospace product (after the company had failed to find the root cause for a number of years). The fix has been flying for over a year now and "accidentally" fixed other issues with the product as well. -- Finding the root cause of power connector burns after years of wear in the field.
