Medchart's business-side and supply-side customers include law firms, major insurers, digital health apps, life sciences researchers, healthcare providers, major retail pharmacies and health exchanges, to name a few. Notably, Medchart connects health data for nearly 40% of all U.S. claimants in the ongoing Purdue opioid litigation and has developed proprietary supply channels to thousands of Rite Aid and Shoppers Drug Mart retail pharmacy chains across the USA and Canada. Over the past year our connected data sources grew 300%, API calls into the platform increased 183%, and our North America customer base grew 5x. Already Medchart connects 65,000 health organizations across North America, reaching more than 120M patients.
