The idea of someone forking Java with vibe code nonsense and expecting them to be able to maintain is laughable.

This is good. I'm pretty sure Flock cameras have been used more often to stalk cops' exes than solving any crime.

Is it actually safer? If you can't understand the code you can't verify it's safety, and AI code often has bugs in it. You can't trust implicitly.

How would 100% non-human code possibly be safer?

Just another example of using AI as the solution when the real solution is obvious and here.

Well no shit obviously. Just cause you tell the random text generator to follow some rules doesn't mean it will.

Isn't Anthrophic's "recent turn to profitability" just one specific quarter according to non-GAAP practices? How real is that?

And people said that Apple was going to get left behind by not going full throttle on AI. Seems like they took the right approach

How am I being left behind by not using AI? I have a fully functional brain that I can use to do anything AI can and better.

How can a random generator be deterministic?

$230 for essentially a fancy numpad that's only useful for one tool? Welcome to the AI revolution

So many of the replies are saying that they should've restricted access using .md files and whatnot. Is really any guarantee that they even follow those? It seems like even if you …

Isn't thermal throttling an issue for all laptops, really any computer? Also the keyboards have improved a lot since the original butterfly design.

Retro Studios is a subsidiary of Nintendo, actually! Not sure how it's structured organizationally, but Nintendo does own it.
