I learned to stop worrying about Makefiles and loved Rakefiles instead because they allow you to write Ruby code anytime you need to do slightly complex tasks.

I'm using a Thinkpad T480 (Core i5 8250u) with Kubuntu. I undervolted the CPU so that it runs cooler and doesn't throttle. Then I upgraded the RAM to 32GB. Overall, it's quite a go…
