ok thanks for clarifying. I thought "matrix homeserver" people always refer the own synapse install.... but matrix homeserver is matrix.org ;-) so it makes sense. thanks

I'm using Slack & Riot ... and from my point of view Slack has many of the same issues that riot has as well (performance, room switching, etc). I agree the UX is not as intuitive …
