About FWKevents

I am an inveterate start-up entrepreneur. My biggest "start-up" accomplishment to date was starting a photography/videography studio in Philadelphia in 1999 from $0 and taking it to $500,000 in revenue every year for nearly 20 years, in a highly competitive field. My latest start-up is an offshoot of my experience in the events industry. I have an online marketplace in the events industry, EventNation.com. It's a way for event planners of small meetings - which is 62% of the $3 billion a year US events industry - to quickly find appropriate venues and vendors. There are also local networks that those planners can join for education and support. "Come for the tool; stay for the network." is our philosophy. Additionally, I have a passion for Web3. I recently sold NFTs of images I photographed of Nirvana in 1991. The project was covered in major mainstream media publications, and I was interviewed on national news outlets, Newsy and Cheddar News. I really believe in the space, and hope that more games and NFTs will be built that will appeal to women and girls.
