Yeah but Starbucks wouldn't want to lose customers over that. But you are right on one point, we could and should make a habit of using reusable dishware/cups.

People actually try to recycle the paper cups thinking that they are recyclable.

Yeah but in the USA the recycling infrastructure is very different from state to state, so implementing something on a national level is not a viable solution.
