With the small-blocker and big-blocker schism, BTC is not Bitcoin, and is not meant for commerce. If you want fast, cheap, settled transactions, use Bitcoin (BCH).

The Lightning Network is not settlement. It's like an IOU, that depends on the eventually-settled state of all associated channels.
